Barış Filiz's passion for football began in his childhood, and his thirst for knowledge and constant desire to learn motivated him to focus on academic education after his professional football career. He studied Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Coaching Education at the Near East University Faculty of Sports Sciences on a scholarship, graduating with top honors in both fields.

After graduating from the Sports Management department of Anadolu University, he successfully completed his master's degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Istanbul Gedik University Graduate School with a 100% scholarship.

He presented at national and international sports and educational science congresses. His master's thesis titled "Analysis of the Matches Played by the Turkish National Football Team in the UEFA EURO 2020 European Championship Qualifying Group" was published by Nobel Publishing under the title "Analysis of the Matches of the Turkish National Football Team."

The coaching courses he completed at TFF, UEFA, and FIFA in football, futsal, and beach soccer helped him better understand European football education and gain a new perspective. These courses contributed to his professional career and also provided him with the opportunity to view football from a broader perspective.

Throughout his career, he worked in all leagues organized by TFF-FGD, and also served as a coach for both the men's and women's national football teams. These valuable experiences reflect the years he spent in the football world and the countless experiences he gained.

He had the opportunity to work with many important players both nationally and internationally, experiencing the rich diversity of global football. This process allowed him to understand different football philosophies, tactics, and cultures, adding value to his career.

Throughout his professional career, he developed important skills such as discipline, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork. He avoids memorizing information, focuses on the process, and embraces the principle of "lifelong learning." He knows that self-development is the most enjoyable yet the hardest path in life, and continues his research and studies.
